QuixoticGirly – From End to Beginning…
This is A Story that Starts at the End & Ends at the Beginning…
Roughly 18 months ago an event happened that abruptly ended an era of my life. I can’t go back, so instead I moved forward. At first wandering, then wondering and finally tentatively picking up ideas and putting them together to bring me here to this place, to this blog and to you.
So with a name in my pocket: Quixotic, pronounced [kwik-sot-ik] Adjective – Extravagantly chivalrous or romantic; visionary, impractical…
And an idea in my heart: Beauty & fashion is an art that is witness to our life. We take it with us…a favorite lipstick, a knock-out dress…and it enters our memory, refines the edges of our identity. No other art form lives & travels so intimately with us…
I put this last 18 months behind me & finally give in to this nagging dream of an idea that I can no longer ignore. I end at the beginning. The beginning of my Youtube channel, Quixoticgirly. The beginning of this blog. The beginning of Beauty Chic Magazine.
I welcome you to join me. We can indulge in everything girly, all things chic and the bounty of beauty (both within us and around us), that is our world.

Reply →I have been watching you on you tube for months! I absolutely love your videos and I can not wait to see more blogs :) Congrats on the new websites! About 2 years ago my family went through a very dark time and its been rough coming out of it! When you go through something tragic its hard to remember that eventually there will be happy times again. I was afraid I wouldn't see the world the same again but I realized the more time passed, my wounds healed, and before I knew it months had gone by. Since then a motto I live by is "this to shall pass" We must go through the bad, rough times so we really learn to appreciate the good times :)
